Business Update

We were scheduled to close on the Cedarwood Apartments deal on September 30; however, after careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to terminate the contract. We ran into unexpected financing issues that threw us off course, and while we explored several alternative options, those alternatives would have turned this into a bad deal for our investors.

I believe that no deal is better than a bad deal. As stewards of our investors' hard-earned capital, we prioritize their interests above all else, and we are optimistic about future opportunities that align with our mutual goals. Stay tuned for updates on new deals in the pipeline!

Market Update

In September, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 50 basis points, lowering the benchmark rate to 4.75%-5%. This larger-than-expected cut was aimed at supporting economic activity while inflation continues to ease.
